I was able recently to take a business trip to London, England. While there I was able to enjoy this beef and Stilton pie from The White Lion Public House just north of Covent Garden. The crust had aged cheddar mixed into it, and the whole thing just tasted amazing. Who says English food isn’t good? At a minimum, this one was fantastic. I am a big fan of meat that is wrapped in some sort of crust – in fact, there are many parts of the world that have their own variations on this theme. Maybe at some point I’ll have to write about this – meat pies from all across different parts of the world.
