Barbecue in Texas continues to grow, and there are some very innovative new BBQ joints that have come into existence since the Top 50 list was published in 2017. In May 2019 Texas Monthly published “The Top 25 New Barbecue Joints in Texas!” rankings. This is just an informal way of tracking how many of those places I’ve visited.
