The Black family has quite an impressive Texas barbecue pedigree. So while in Austin I had to try Terry Black’s Barbecue to compare it to the original Black’s Barbecue in Lockhart. Not surprisingly, it was great stuff. I enjoyed every bite! The brisket was on point. The sausage was excellent. The pork ribs were very tasty. The coleslaw was a very nice version with good crunch. And the banana pudding was a great finish to the meal.
Totally worth a visit anytime you are in Austin, and especially if you don’t want to wait in crazy long lines and/or if you want BBQ for dinner rather than lunch.
