Trying to get back to some normalcy here in Houston after Hurricane Harvey. And what better way than to think about and plan for eating more Texas barbecue?! I’m jonesing for some brisket right now – can you tell?

This was from a visit a month or so ago to Hickory Hollow. They are not a top-rated place. But they consistently deliver very good and very tasty barbecue. The brisket and ribs are both very good. And the Fallbrook location just feels so Texas. 🙂

What is it about a plate with brisket, sausage and pork ribs that is just so amazingly good?!?! I don’t know either – just glad to live in a place where this kind of stuff is readily available.
