Anyone driving between Houston and Austin on a weekend needs to make a pitstop at Truth Barbecue in Brenham. It was just ranked #10 on the Texas Monthly 2017 Top 10 list – yes, it’s that good. I stopped on the way back from some Austin business meetings recently – and boy was the BBQ delicious. The brisket and sausage were both fantastic. And the homemade pickles, plus the pickled onions – just put it over the top. Well worth the drive just for the BBQ!
